The Things in My Studio

Agh!  She’s such a good painter!   desireelynswanson: This is the newest painting to come out of my studio.  Initially, it was intended to be the second part of a diptych with the painting of grouped horse-related items that I have yet to hammer down a name for.  This one is called My Paleontology Kit, including items that seem to fit the bill, but on closer inspection may not.  As a child, these items made perfect sense together, but now Jurassic Park toys combined with raccoon bones and fossils seems to be a little strange—similar to the horse painting that I posted earlier with a Breyer horse, My Little Pony and actual equestrian equipment. It doesn’t matter to a kid if its real or fake.
